This is a picture of me dragging the last shipment of wholesale orders in to our local post office for delivery a week or so ago. It was not easy, but we got them all out ourselves. Direct mailing will definitely be happening next time, but we are glad we had the experience of getting to do every part of magazine production the first time around.

I’m making barn quilt designs at the office today. It’s great stress relief from the massive amount of work I need to do. I am going to do something exciting with this design for the apartment! Why not make your own?
Ben Ashby is contacting anyone and everyone, our Facebook page is exploding with fans (Thanks to everyone for that!), and I am making sure our Tumblr followers are getting updates on all of the goings on. So let’s ask something from all of you. What is your favorite find? Vintage, antique, handmade, anything! Message me here at FOLK Magazine to let me know what your favorite little treasure is.
Soon enough we will be working intently on the first issue for all of our readers and making sure that we have a great product for you! We hope all of you FOLKs out there have a nice relaxing day. We’re going to have a nice cold glass of sweet tea to celebrate here at FOLK!
Our editors and writers are hard at work. Paper and last minute ideas are flying, keys are tapping on every keyboard, and every pencil is dulling. However, we’ve almost got our preview issue ready for everyone. Be looking for it soon!
